The city council explained the increase in fares by the rising cost of fuel, spare parts, and materials, as well as the increase in the minimum wage.

It should be noted that currently the fare for public electric transportation is UAH 10 for a paper ticket and UAH 8 for a QR code.

As Intent previously wrote, a new trolleybus route No. 14 "Mykolaiv-Vantazhnyi - Kazarskoho Street" will soon appear in Mykolaiv.

In addition, Mykolaiv will receive 40 tramcars from the Swedish city of Gothenburg. These are M29 trams, which were previously used in the Swedish urban transportation system.

As a reminder, in December 2025, tram service was resumed in Mykolaiv on the route No. 3 ChSZ - 10th Military. Electric vehicles are running again according to their usual schedule.
