The Berezivsky District has become the leader in residential construction growth in the Odesa region

The Berezivsky District recorded the highest growth among all districts in the Odesa region in terms of the volume of housing units commissioned—over the past six months, the figure increased 4.5-fold compared to last year.

This was reported by the Main Department of Statistics in the Odesa region.

From January through June 2026, 1,287 square meters of housing were commissioned in the Berezivsky District . This represents 458% of the figure for the first half of 2025.

Thus, the district demonstrated the highest growth rate among the districts of the Odesa region.

By comparison, 7,808 square meters of housing were commissioned in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District during this period. This represents 125.2% of last year’s figure.

At the same time, the volume of housing completed decreased in other districts of the region. In the Izmail District, 9,031 square meters were completed, or 51.4% of last year’s figure. In the Bolhrad District—402 square meters, or 51.8%; in the Podilsk District—1,072 square meters, or 61.8%.

As is customary, the Odessa district accounted for the largest volume of housing. Over the course of six months, 307,146 square meters were commissioned there, representing 84.9% of the figure for the same period in 2025.

In total, 328,788 square meters of housing were commissioned in the Odesa region during the first half of 2026. This is 84.4% of the volume recorded for January–June 2025.

The statistics include residential buildings commissioned in accordance with established procedures, as well as summer cottages and garden houses.

As Intent previously reported,the Odesa regionranks third among regions in terms of the number of new construction projects —it accounts for 10.9% of the total.

Also in Odesa, a plot of land previously seized for the construction and maintenance of a residential complex near the 8th Station of Velykyi Fontan has been put up for sale again. The price has been reduced by nearly half.
