Since the beginning of the year, TCC alert groups have been attacked 14 times in Odesa region

Since the beginning of 2026, 14 cases of attacks on military personnel of alert groups of territorial recruitment and social support centers have been recorded in Odesa region, including with the use of knives, firearms and gas.

Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, said this in a commentary, according to Ukrinform.

"Since the beginning of this year, 14 cases of armed attacks on servicemen of the alert groups of territorial recruitment centers have been recorded in Odesa region. They were inflicted with knife and gunshot wounds, beaten and gas was used against them," he said.

The spokesman also commented on the attack on representatives of the TCC in Odesa region, which resulted in two servicemen being stabbed. According to him, the victims underwent emergency surgery.

The management of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support reported an armed attack on servicemen while they were performing their duties in Podil district of Odesa region.

While accompanying the offender to the territorial recruitment center to process administrative materials, the citizen committed an armed attack on the personnel of the alert group. Using cold steel, the offender inflicted numerous stab wounds to two servicemen. Both victims have been hospitalized in serious condition, and doctors are fighting for their lives.

Earlier, a group of unidentified people in Odesa disrupted the transportation of conscripts by attacking a military vehicle. While the security forces were recovering from the use of gas and damage to the vehicle, several passengers disappeared in the midst of the incident.

Also, Vadym Anokhin, an actor of the Odesa Academic Regional Drama Theater, filed a complaint with the police against employees of the territorial center for recruitment and social support, who beat him and broke his finger.
