Vadym Anokhin, an actor at the Odesa Academic Regional Drama Theater, filed a complaint with the police against employees of the territorial center for recruitment and social support, who beat him and broke his finger.

According to the actor, he had a reservation, but he was detained in a building on Chornomorske Cossacks Street, after which he was released and had to call an ambulance himself, which was not coming because of the air raid alarm.

"In the building at 40, Chornomorskogo Cossackstva Street, they cursed me, a theater actor, with all kinds of Russian curses, did not allow me to call an ambulance, and held me for an hour. Then they let me out and I had to call an ambulance myself. An hour later, a policeman who happened to be passing by gave me a ride to hospital #11. At the hospital, they sent me to a pharmacy to buy medicine, but not the nearest one, but the one with which the hospital had a contract. After that, they told me to pay the girl at the reception desk and the doctor," the actor said.

He also said that the police ignored his calls, and he was forced to wait in the hospital until the curfew ended.

Earlier in Odesa, the court imposed pre-trial restraints on the TCC employees and a police officer suspected of kidnapping and extortion. All the defendants in the case were taken into custody for 60 days without the right to be released on bail.

Investigators claim that the man was extorted 30 thousand US dollars. During the arrest, the suspects resisted, and law enforcement officers were forced to open fire at the wheels of the car to stop the vehicle.

The pre-trial investigation is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident and the role of each of the participants.

Also, by the decision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the head of the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, as well as the head of the Peresypsk Regional Center for Recruitment and Social Support, were suspended from duty.
