The occupiers continue to terrorize the civilian population of Kherson region. Two civilians were killed by artillery shelling in Kherson region on January 3. Two more were wounded.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Darivka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Novotyanka, and Mykolayivka were under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery fire in the Kherson region over the past day, Tokarivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Nadiivka, Kizomys, Yantarne, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Rakivka, Novovorontsovka, Mylove, Dudchany, Republican, Zolota Balka, Odradokamyanka, Novoraysk, Chervonyi Mayak, Vesele, Kozatske and the city of Kherson.
According to him, the Russian military hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged 8 high-rise buildings and 6 private houses. The occupiers also damaged the electric transportation network, a shop and private cars.
As a result of Russian aggression, 2 people were killed and 2 others were injured.

According to investigators from the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, on January 3, 2026, at about 10:30 a.m., the occupiers attacked Kherson with artillery. The shell explosion killed an elderly woman and a middle-aged man. Both were in a car in the yard.
Prosecutors together with investigators continue to document war crimes committed by the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier it was reported that in Kherson, Russians attacked rescuers while extinguishing a fire at a gas station. Thus, in the morning, on July 6, Russian troops fired at a gas station in Kherson. The attack resulted in a fire, which rescuers went to extinguish. During the firefighting, enemy forces struck again at the same location. The second attack damaged a tanker truck.
A day earlier, Russians shelled Kherson region from the air and ground, hitting residential areas and infrastructure in more than 40 settlements. Eleven people were injured, dozens of houses, a gas station, a gas pipeline and cars were destroyed.
Also on the anniversary of the liberation, the occupiers shelled the center of Kherson.
