Second court in Odesa to have a new head in a week

The judges of the Fifth Administrative Court of Appeal, which operates in Odesa, have recently elected a new chairman to replace Oleksandr Jaburia.

The court's administration told Intent that Stepan Domuschi became the new chairman.

According to the declaration published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, last year Stepan Domuschi received a salary of UAH 3 million 10.3 thousand, a pension of UAH 209.3 thousand and an additional benefit, namely reimbursement of travel costs to Kyiv to participate in a roundtable of UAH 3 thousand 668. His wife also received a pension of UAH 32.6 thousand and interest on a bank deposit of just over UAH 1,200.

The judge keeps 600 thousand hryvnias in cash and has cash in banks totaling 325 thousand 852 hryvnias. Stepan Domuschi drives a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross made in 209, and his wife drives a 2015 BMW 320i.

The couple owns a one-hectare plot of land in the village of Limanka, Odesa district, a 299.5-square-meter residential building in the same place, and a 43.4-square-meter apartment in Odesa, which is owned by the judge's wife. She also owns half of an 80.5-square-meter apartment in Odesa.

In August, Stepan Domuschi declared significant changes in his financial status, namely a salary of UAH 198,758.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Domuschi worked for a long time in various positions at the Kyiv District Council of Odesa. His judicial career began on November 11, 2003, according to the prosud project. In 2009, the Verkhovna Rada appointed him to the position of judge of the Odesa Administrative Court of Appeal for an unlimited term. According to the Register of Court Decisions, on December 23, 2013, under the chairmanship of Judge Stepan Domuschi, the panel considered an appeal by a political force against the decision of the Odesa District Administrative Court in a case on restrictions on the right to peaceful assembly. In fact, Stepan Domuschi and his colleagues dismissed the appeal and legalized the ban on peaceful assemblies in the period from November 25 to December 31, 2013 on the central streets of Odesa and near government institutions.

Earlier, on September 16, judges of the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa elected a new chairman to replace Serhiy Kichmarenko, and the deputy chairman ,Vadym Kovalenko, became the new chairman .
