Massive Russian shelling in Kherson region killed one person and wounded four others, including two medical workers. The occupiers were shelling residential areas and civilian infrastructure throughout the day, damaging dozens of facilities in the region.
This was reported by the press service of the National Police in Kherson region.
A total of 29 objects were damaged, including high-rise buildings, private houses, an enterprise, an administrative building, an educational institution, and vehicles.
In Shyroka Balka, an FPV drone attack killed a 66-year-old man who was outside at the time of the attack.
Drone strikes damaged a vehicle of a utility company in Kucherske, residential buildings in Novokaira, Pryozerne and Novooleksandrivka, and a car in Novoraysk.
Mortar fire damaged a house in Zolota Balka, and a drone hit a private residence in Bilozerka. In Komyshany, a residential building was destroyed by shelling.
Throughout the morning and afternoon, Russian troops shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson, damaging high-rise buildings, a transport company, and a shuttle bus.
In the evening, an 83-year-old woman was injured during the shelling. She was hospitalized with an explosive injury, contusion and a craniocerebral injury. Residential buildings and an administrative building were also damaged.
In the central district of Kherson, artillery damaged a building of an educational institution, and drones attacked an apartment building. In the coastal area of Dniprovsky district, private houses were damaged by explosives dropped from drones.
In addition, two hospital workers who were injured during the shelling of a medical facility in Bilozerka on March 18 needed medical assistance. The women were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries and concussions.
Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the shelling and collected evidence of war crimes. In one day, the police processed 387 calls and opened 21 criminal proceedings under the article on war crimes.
On March 14, 29 objects were damaged as a result of hostile attacks: two apartment buildings and 17 private houses, an educational institution, a village council building, an outpatient clinic, an emergency medical vehicle, three cars, a motorcycle, and gas pipelines.
