On the night of June 11, the Russian military shelled Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky districts of the region with Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

According to the Izmail District State Administration, despite the active work of air defense forces, which shot down some of the enemy drones, the attack resulted in hits to several private houses in the Vilkovo community.

"Fires broke out in five of them, which are being extinguished by the State Emergency Service units," the DSA added.

The prosecutor's office, in turn, has already launched an investigation into the commission of war crimes. According to them, the attack damaged the civilian infrastructure of Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovsky districts.

"In particular, country houses, outbuildings, civilian boats, warehouses and cars were damaged," the agency said.

The inspection is ongoing, and a full list of destruction and damage is being established. At the scene, prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.

On the night of June 10, Odesa Film Studio was damaged as a result of a Russian air strike on the city - the scenery for the filmDovzhenko was completely destroyed. The mayor's office also released photos of the aftermath of the attack on the blood transfusion station in Odesa. The building of the State Archives of Odesa Region, which is under the protection of UNESCO, was also damaged by the fragments of a Russian drone on the night of June 10.

Odesa was once again targeted by the Russian army during the night, killing, according to preliminary information, two people. The shelling damaged and destroyed residential buildings, an emergency ambulance station, a maternity hospital, and a fire broke out on the territory of the Odesa Zoo. At least nine people were injured. Another nine were rescued by firefighters.
