Russian drone that attacked Odesa region crashes in Romania

An aircraft similar to the one that attacked Odesa region went down in Romania near Grindu, about 5 kilometers south of the Romanian border.

According to the Romanian Ministry of Defense, military teams went to the scene and reported the possible presence of drone fragments.

In general, Romanian radars signaled the presence of groups of drones in the area adjacent to the national airspace, which led to the preventive activation of air defense systems. The weather conditions in the southeast of the country did not allow the Air Police combat aircraft to take off.


At 00:07, an alert was issued to the population of the northern part of Tulcea County. Explosions were reported on the Ukrainian side of the Danube, near the port of Izmail.

A Russian air attack in Odesa region on the night of November 11 injured a person and damaged a Ukrzaliznytsia depot. The person was injured by shrapnel from the explosion. Despite the active work of the air defense forces, there has been damage to civilian energy and transportation infrastructure. As a result of the strikes, fires broke out at several energy facilities, which were extinguished by rescuers. Administrative buildings were also damaged.

According to DTEK, 16,000 families have been left without electricity. In the morning, where technically possible, the company's specialists supplied power to critical infrastructure facilities and 1.6 thousand customers from backup sources. As of 9:00 a.m. on November 11, 14.5 thousand families were without electricity.

On November 10, the enemy bombarded Odesa from the air all day. The air raid was activated 11 times. Thus, on the morning of November 10, Odesa suffered another Russian air attack, which resulted in a fire in the city. The attack set the facade of a 4-story residential building on fire. Rescuers extinguished the fire. There were no reports of fatalities or injuries.

In another attack, an enemy drone hit the roof of a private house in Odesa district, causing the roof and ceiling to collapse. There was no fire. There were no reports of casualties or injuries.
