An unmanned aerial vehicle, one of those regularly used by Russia to attack Odesa region, hit the roof of a winery in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district.
This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
After the hit, a fire broke out in the building, which was extinguished by rescuers. According to preliminary information, no one was injured in the attack.
This is not the first time that the production facilities of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district have suffered from Russian attacks. For example, on the night of September 28, 2025, Russia attacked Odesa region, however, unlike the two previous attacks, this time a winery in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, which produces Aznauri cognac, was hit.
Also, the Russian army attacked Odesa twice - on the evening of January 11 and on the night of January 12, 2026, and as a result of these attacks, the city's infrastructure and two people were injured. On the night of January 12, the enemy attacked the country with 156 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of attack drones. According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defense neutralized 135 enemy UAVs.
In the morning of January 10, the Russian army attacked industrial infrastructure in the Odesa region. As a result of the attack, an empty tank was damaged on the territory of a port company, and insulation caught fire. However, there has been no information on the deaths and injuries so far.
On January 9, while en route to the port of Chornomorsk, a Russian attack drone hit a civilian ship flying the foreign flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, which was on its way to load grain cargo within the Ukrainian Sea Corridor. There were victims. The vessel's seaworthiness was not affected and it is underway and headed for the nearest port. A vessel flying the flag of the Comoros, which was transporting soybeans, was also attacked near the port of Odesa. A crew member, a Syrian citizen, was killed in the attack.
