Russian Black Sea Fleet base deserted in Crimea

Ukrainian guerrillas recorded an almost empty base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. According to their data, there is almost no equipment at the base, and some vehicles look inoperable.

This was reported by the Atesh resistance movement.

Agents of the Atesh resistance movement conducted a reconnaissance of the 758th Logistics Center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol (coordinates 44.58021, 33.50951) and recorded the almost complete absence of equipment on the territory of the base. The guerrillas noted that some vehicles look inoperable, and this may indicate a shortage of equipment by the occupiers: the equipment is constantly being moved around Crimea to protect it from attacks by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to the report, the 758th MTBF is a strategic facility through which the Black Sea Fleet receives fuel, ammunition and food. Without its operation, the fleet loses the ability to conduct combat operations. Earlier, the center's warehouses were already targeted in the area of Sakharna Holovka and Shabalina Street.

The resistance movement noted that the reconnaissance is currently ongoing, and all the data collected has been passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, as any information about the warehouses and the movement of equipment is of strategic importance.

In July, the guerrillas reconnoitered the former Sevastopol Aviation Plant, which is now a key point of planning for Russian air strikes on the southern regions of Ukraine. This enterprise supports the activities of Russian aviation. According to the guerrillas, a command post has been set up on the territory of the plant, through which combat missions to southern Ukraine are planned, decisions are made on the selection of targets and coordination of air strikes. All the data collected on the personnel, equipment and activities of the facility has already been transferred to the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

In July, guerrillas in the occupied Crimea discovered an abandoned medical unit located in Sevastopol. A special forces medical unit used to work there. According to the scouts, the equipment was left under the blazing sun, the territory was overgrown with weeds, and most of the guards were sleeping or drinking in the late afternoon. According to the guerrillas, the lack of resources and acute staff shortage are forcing the Russian command to prepare for the disbandment of the medical unit.
