Russian artillery hits residential areas in Kherson region and injures people

Russian troops shelled Kherson region with drones, artillery and aircraft throughout the day, destroying residential infrastructure. Houses, a gas station, a gas pipeline and private cars were damaged.

This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

From June 13 to 14, 2025, Kherson region was again subjected to massive attacks by the Russians. At least two dozen settlements came under enemy fire, including Beryslav, Antonivka, Zmiivka, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, and the regional center of Kherson.

The occupants were targeting residential areas: Drones, artillery and aircraft damaged an apartment building and at least six private homes. The shelling also destroyed a gas station, a gas pipeline, a garage and several cars belonging to local residents.

Five civilians were wounded.

Also, an 11-year-old boy wounded on June 11 during an enemy drone attack in Bilozerka died in hospital. Doctors did their best, but could not save him.

Between the morning of June 12 and the morning of June 13, Russian strikes damaged four high-rise buildings, 13 private houses, a gas station, an outbuilding, and several cars. One person was killed and seven others were injured. At night, air defense forces shot down two Shahed-131/136 drones over the region.

The day before, dozens of settlements in Kherson region came under fire: 4 more high-rise buildings, 18 private houses, a cell tower, outbuildings, a gas pipeline were destroyed, several cars and part of a national park were damaged. 12 people were injured, including one child.

On June 10-11, Russian troops shelled residential areas: A multi-storey building, ten private houses, an outbuilding, a garage and several cars were damaged. Five people were injured in the attacks.

Since the beginning of 2025, the Kherson city territorial community has been hit more than 2,500 times. For comparison, about eight thousand attacks were recorded in all of 2024.
