Repair of heating networks in Mykolaiv region will cost 56 million

Mykolaiv region is preparing to spend tens of millions from the budget to repair heating networks. The auction is scheduled for early July, and the work is to be carried out on one avenue until December 2026.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro procurement system.

A tender has been announced in Pivdenoukrainsk for the overhaul of heating networks along Nezalezhnosti Avenue.

The customer is the Construction and Repair Department of the Yuzhnoukrainsk City Council. Proposals from contractors will be accepted until July 4, and the auction is to be held on the same day. According to the tender, the works include upgrading the networks in accordance with state building codes, which should improve the reliability of the heating system.

The expected cost of the works is UAH 56.5 million. The selected contractor must complete the reconstruction by December 15, 2026.

According to the tender documents, the winner will receive an advance payment of 30% after signing the contract. The contractor will receive the rest of the money after the work is completed. Bidders can ask clarifying questions until July 1.

The bidders must also provide a certificate in any form on the availability of the necessary equipment, machinery and technologies to perform the work. This certificate should specify only those machines and mechanisms that will be involved in this particular project.

In addition, the procurement initiators noted that a certificate of availability of qualified personnel is required. In particular, the team must include a design engineer (to work with estimate documentation), a chief engineer, a labor protection engineer, etc.

The expected cost of the works is calculated on the basis of the investor's estimate, taking into account the average monthly salary of one full-time employee - UAH 18,570.

Mykolaivoblteploenergo also announced a tender for the reconstruction of heating networks on Dniprovska Street. The cost of the work was estimated at more than UAH 22 million, and the project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025.

Recently, a tender for the repair of heating networks in Mykolaiv was won by a company with a dubious reputation that has already been involved in investigations into the misuse of budget funds. Despite this, it continues to receive millions of dollars in contracts from state and municipal customers.
