According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on August 3, Russian troops attacked the Kutsurubska community four times with FPV drones: a power line was damaged in Dniprovske village and a private house in Dmytrivka. The Ochakivska community was also hit by a drone. There were no casualties.

On August 2, according to the Sports Committee of Ukraine, a Russian missile damaged the Vodoley sports complex in Mykolaiv, one of the main training bases for Ukrainian diving and synchronized swimming teams. It is at this sports complex that young athletes train, who will represent Ukraine on the international stage in the coming years. Dozens of champions and prize-winners have been trained here, and they have glorified the country at prestigious competitions. The blast wave smashed windows in the complex and covered some of the premises with debris. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this is not the first attack on Ukrainian sports infrastructure: the enemy has damaged more than 500 sports facilities so far.

On the same day, residential areas of the city were hit by an enemy missile attack . 23 private houses were damaged, three more were destroyed, and 12 apartment buildings, six cars, a post office and a building materials store were damaged. Seven residents of Mykolaiv were injured.
