The Mykolaiv Primary Health Care Center has created conditions for a comfortable stay for patients and medical staff.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Health Department.

In September, the restoration of Primary Health Care Center No. 6 was completed. Thus, outpatient clinic No. 8 has completed repairs, seven rooms have been renovated in outpatient clinic No. 1, and work is currently underway in several other rooms and entrance areas. Repair work is also ongoing at outpatient clinic No. 4. New furniture and necessary equipment were purchased for outpatient clinics No. 1, 2, 4 and 6.

Employees planted oak trees on the Center's grounds as a symbol of health, longevity, strength and indestructibility of the Ukrainian people.

Primary Health Care Center #6 serves 65,530 patients who have signed declarations.

In addition to what medical institutions in Mykolaiv region do on their own, they also receive support from international partners. For example, City Hospital No. 3 recently received a modern surgical X-ray machine for the urology department. The assistance came from the French humanitarian association Chain of Hope.

Solar panels were installed in three medical institutions in the region. This will ensure autonomous operation in case of possible power outages.

Currently, all medical institutions in the region are equipped with the necessary sources of alternative energy, including generators and fuel for their operation. At the same time, the process of installing solar panels is underway to ensure operation in the event of power outages.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has also allocated more than UAH 44 million to support medical institutions in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. These funds were redistributed from the general fund of the state budget to finance the program of the Ministry of Health.
