One of the educational institutions in Pivdenoukrainsk, Mykolaiv Oblast, will have a mini football field repaired for almost a million hryvnias. The work will be performed by a local company that regularly signs budget contracts.
This became known from the electronic procurement system Prozorro.
According to the information, the lyceum No. 5 in Pivdenoukrainsk will undergo a mini-football field repair, including the replacement of the artificial turf. The expected cost of the project was UAH 1 million, and the tender for the work was announced in March 2025.
Only one bidder, Ukrbudservice & Co, a private enterprise, applied for the tender and offered to perform the work for UAH 983,788. Accordingly, the company won the tender. The works are to be completed by August 31, 2025, i.e. by the beginning of the new school year.
According to YouControl, Ukrbudservice & Co. is a Pivdenoukrainsk-based company that has been operating since 2010. It specializes in the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, as well as performs construction, installation and finishing works. The company is headed by Yuriy Biryukov and founded by Natalia Biryukova.
The firm actively participates in government tenders. Its recent projects include a major overhaul of the canteen and catering department of Lyceum No. 2 in Pivdenoukrainsk (worth UAH 6.6 million), the arrangement of a playground at Ivanivka Gymnasium, and the commissioning of the heating system of the community center in the village of Taborivka.
The customer, the Construction and Repair Department of Pivdenoukrainsk City Council, is currently preparing to sign an agreement with the contractor.
Earlier, Pivdenoukrainsk signed an agreement to build a shelter for a lyceum. The tender was held without a competitive procedure, and the contract was awarded to a company that has been repeatedly found to have inflated prices for materials.
The Veselynivka village council in Mykolaiv region also signed a UAH 3 million agreement with Yulcom-Service, a company that had previously installed containers instead of shelters.
In addition, a contract for the repair of a shelter was signed in Mykolaiv with a company suspected of bid rigging.
