Starting August 1, information about citations issued by Odessa inspectors for violations of stopping, standing, and parking regulations is displayed in the app and on the Diya portal. This is possible thanks to the successfulintegration of the city’s internal database with the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ national system and “Diya.”
This was announced by the Odessa City Council.
“The digitization of city services is one of our priorities. Integration with Diya is another step toward creating modern, transparent, and convenient services for residents and visitors to Odessa. I would like to thank all the partners who contributed to the implementation of this important project. We will continue to work on developing the city’s digital services,” said Serhiy Shcherban, head of the Department of Transportation, Communications, and Traffic Management.
Previously, “Diya” primarily displayed fines issued by the Patrol Police or from automated traffic enforcement cameras. Fines issued by municipal parking inspectors had to be looked up on special city websites, awaited via paper notice in the mail, or paid using bank details. Now the process is automated.
Odesa has also released its first report on the work of the City Strategic Development Council. The council includes representatives from government, business, and experts who are working together on key areas of Odesa’s development. Four working groups have already been established to ensure systematic progress.
