The residential complex at 3/1 Ovidiopolska Street, two buildings of which were damaged as a result of an enemy attack on November 9, 2024, will be restored at the expense of the city budget.
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
On March 20, Deputy Mayors Oleksandr Filatov and Anna Pozdnyakova, Director of the Department of Public Works Oleksandr Ilyin, and Director of the Department of Municipal Economy Leonid Grebenyuk met with the residents of the building and discussed the further algorithm of joint actions.
"At the initiative of the Department for City Improvement, an additional technical survey was ordered. We will have the results within the next two weeks. In order to speed up the process, we will urgently schedule an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee - this is a normal practice in such cases," said Oleksandr Filatov.
The house at this address was included in the list of objects to be restored. Residents submitted 136 applications, which were processed in full. Currently, funds for the restoration of the house are provided, but not in full. New allocations are planned to be made at the session of the Odesa City Council on April 16.
The house was damaged on the night of November 9, 2024. Then, as a result of an enemy attack, several high-rise buildings and private sector houses, as well as administrative buildings, warehouses and cars in one of Odesa's districts were damaged.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, on the night of November 9, the enemy attacked from the areas of Prymorsko-Akhtarsk and Orel with 51 Shahed attack UAVs and unidentified drones, and Odesa region became the epicenter of the attack.
One person was killed and 13 others were wounded, including two children.
