Odesa is once again looking for a contractor to overhaul gymnasium No. 5 on Oleksiy Vatadursky Street (formerly Marshal Malynovskoho Street). The repair has become more expensive.

As it became known from the public procurement platform Prozorro, on April 1, the Capital Construction Department of the Odesa City Council announced a tender for the repair of the educational institution marked "adjustments."

Adjustments usually refer to additional costs that arise due to an increase in the scope of work or rising prices for materials. The expected cost of the works is UAH 20.5 million.

The previous tender for the repair of this facility was held in 2021. At that time, the purchase price was UAH 18 million, and the winner was PROFIstroy Construction Company LLC, which agreed to perform the work for UAH 16.9 million. The contract was signed on April 5 of the same year.

However, due to documented circumstances that caused delays, the deadlines for completing the work were extended, and on December 31, 2022, the contract was finally terminated by agreement of the parties. At that time, UAH 9.95 million was paid for the work performed.

Now, the city authorities are looking for a contractor to complete the overhaul of the gymnasium again.

Prior to that, the Department of Capital Construction and Roads of the Odesa Regional State Administration announced a tender to find a company that will reconstruct Bilyaevsky Lyceum No. 3.

Meanwhile, the Plakhtiyevo secondary school in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odesa region held a tender to select a company that will be paid for the overhaul of the roof and implementation of energy saving measures.

Also, Intent wrote that the repair of the Murakhivka Lyceum, which suffered from Russian shelling, has risen in price by more than UAH 6.5 million.
