Odesa schoolgirl dies while going to a shelter

A 7th grade student of Odesa school #77 died when students went to the shelter due to an air raid alarm.

This was reported by a number of telegram channels, and the information was confirmed to Intent by the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council.

They noted that the children did not run for cover, but walked quickly because in the event of a ballistic missile attack, the munition could hit the target two minutes after the Russians launched it. So the students had to be in the shelter for two minutes. The school where the tragedy occurred has a shelter.

It is reported that the schoolgirl suffered from acute cardiovascular failure and lost consciousness during the transition.

Investigators registered the incident in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under paragraph 2 of Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with a preliminary note "natural death". The child's body was sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of death.

According to the teachers, during the air raid alert, when students and teachers were going down to the shelter, the schoolgirl became ill. They called an ambulance and began to provide first aid to the child. Later, the doctors who arrived at the scene began resuscitation, but unfortunately, the girl died.

Meanwhile, in the evening of October 20 , Russians attacked Odesa region with missiles and attack drones. As a result of the evening missile attack on the port infrastructure of Odesa, a fire broke out - no one was injured or killed. Also, due to the fall of rocket fragments in Odesa district, dry grass and an abandoned building caught fire, with no casualties.

Earlier on the night of October 19, Russians also fired missiles at Odesa and hit the city's private sector, causing a fire. The attack set a three-story building and two nearby cars on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by our firefighters. More than ten private houses were also damaged.

Earlier last week, Russian terrorists attacked Odesa with a ballistic missile on the afternoon of October 14, injuring eight people and killing one. One person was killed and eight others were wounded.

Civilian vessels were damaged: "The Belizean-flagged NS Moon and the Palauan-flagged OPTIMA. Exactly a week ago, the OPTIMA was damaged by ballistic missile fire.

The attack also damaged the port infrastructure, including a grain warehouse.

The occupiers have intensified their attacks on the port, and in particular on civilian vessels. Thus, last week, Russians attacked civilian vess els three times in the ports of Odesa region. On the evening of October 9, a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag, the container ship Shui Spirit, was damaged during the attack.

Before that, Russia attacked a civilian vessel in the ports of Odesa region. A ballistic missile damaged the Palau-flagged OPTIMA vessel. One person died as a result of the enemy attack. Five other foreign nationals, crew members, were injured.

The day before, on October 6, Russians fired on the civilian shipPARESA flying the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis, which was loaded with corn for export. It happened near one of the berths in the Pivdennyi seaport.
