A resident of Odesa region refused to serve in the military and was put on the wanted list. His fate was decided in court.

This is stated in the verdict of the Krasnooknyansky District Court of Odesa Region.

According to the case file, the accused, a resident of the village of Topaly, failed to comply with the mandatory requirements for updating his data in the military register and failed to appear at the territorial recruitment center when summoned. He was repeatedly warned of his responsibility, but continued to evade military duty.

After being detained by law enforcement in November 2024, the man was given a referral for a medical examination and a second warning, but he again ignored the requirements of the law.

The court classified his actions under Part 1 of Article 337 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine as evasion from military registration after an official warning and fined him UAH 5100.

Earlier in Odesa region, a utility worker was sentenced for ignoring a summons. The man also has to pay a fine of 5100 hryvnias.

Also in Odesa region, a resident of Liubashivka was tried for failing to appear at the military commissariat after receiving two calls. The man was found guilty and has to pay a fine. The court considered the case in a simplified proceeding, as the accused pleaded guilty and agreed to consider the case without his participation. As a result of the trial, the man was found guilty under Article 337 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - evasion of military registration.

Meanwhile, the Suvorov District Court of Odesa sentenced the man for evading conscription during mobilization.

In addition, a man who works as a painter was tried in Odesa. In exchange for a bribe of $20,000, he promised a citizen to receive a document declaring him unfit for military service.

And the Primorskyi Court of Odesa sentenced a serviceman who had purchased a package of amphetamine for his own use.
