Odesa has adopted a set of amendments to the community budget for 2026. Additional expenditures were allocated for security, transportation, development of strategic programs and business support.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Commission on Planning, Budget and Finance of the Odesa City Council.

As noted during the meeting, the total amount of redistribution from the reserve fund is more than UAH 75 million. In particular, UAH 21 million 604 thousand was allocated to pay for security services for facilities that were previously under the control of the liquidated municipal institutionMunicipal Guard.

The funds are distributed among departments and administrations as follows:

Another UAH 52.5 million was allocated to the municipal motor transport sector to provide social transportation, driver salaries, fuel and lubricants, and bus maintenance. Due to the temporary shutdown of electric transport, some of the electricity costs will be lower, but the funding ensures the smooth operation of the routes.

Separately, UAH 5.2 million was allocated for the protection of the facilities of the Mukachevo Municipal Utility Company, including construction sites undergoing reconstruction and major repairs.

The Department of Economic Development received UAH 700 thousand: UAH 600,000 for the development of strategic projects under the development program, and UAH 100,000 for the preparation and maintenance of information and analytical materials. The Prymorskyi District Administration received an additional UAH 400 thousand to support small and medium-sized businesses, including programs to promote entrepreneurship.

The commission emphasized that all funding changes were made by reallocating funds from the reserve fund of the community budget and that the reallocation of funds would not affect the funding of other programs.

Odesa has also updated its sports development program to include new events and large-scale infrastructure projects. The priorities include the construction of a swimming pool and a sports palace, the organization of competitions at various levels, and support for sports federations.
