Odesa Maritime Academy Plans ₴4.7M Renovation for Danube Institute

The Danube Institute of the National University "Odesa Maritime Academy" in Izmail has planned the next stage of repairs.

The educational institution has started searching for a contractor for the current repair of the workshop premises at 15 Mira Avenue.

The customer is ready to pay the contractor up to UAH 4 million 708 thousand. Under the contract, the roof of the building will be renovated, water supply and heating systems, sewerage and ventilation will be replaced. The corridor on the ground floor, two restrooms, and nine offices will be repaired. Windows and doors will be replaced, a suspended ceiling will be installed, old wallpaper will be removed from the walls and painted with water-based paint, linoleum will be laid on the floor, and lamps will be installed.

The entire scope of work is to be completed by August 30, 2025. The auction to select the contractor will be held on April 14.

The renovation of the Danube Institute's academic building and other buildings has been underway for about a year. In the spring of 2024, PMK No. 132 from Zhytomyr region received a contract for almost UAH 16 million to carry out the current repair of the university's three-story academic building. In the fall, the same company was awarded a contract to renovate the facade of the academic building. The repair of the shelter cost an additional UAH 3 million.

Earlier, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council of Izmail District, Odesa Oblast, held a tender to select a contractor to be paid for services to prevent the occurrence of man-made emergencies.

The Izmail City Central Hospital has started searching for a contractor to overhaul the premises of the bacteriological laboratory. The customer is ready to pay up to UAH 15 million 98 thousand for this.
