Odesa City Hall has increased the number of employees

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has ordered changes to the staffing of the Odesa City Council and its executive bodies.

The relevant order was published by the press service of the municipality.

In particular, the number of employees of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Marketing of Odesa City Council was increased from 54 to 58, the Department of Engineering Protection of the City Territory and Coastal Development of Odesa City Council from 13 to 17, Kyiv District Administration of Odesa City Council from 64 to 66, and Peresypskyi District Administration from 65 to 66.

Taking into account these changes, the staffing level of the Odesa City Council and its executive bodies for 2025 will be changed from 2,257 to 2,268 units, and the number of reserve staff will be changed from 43 to 32 units.

In December 2024, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov approved the number of staff members of the Odesa City Council and its executive bodies for 2025 at 2,92.

The Department of Labor and Social Policy of Odesa City Council with a staff of 386 people should be the largest, and the Advertising Department of Odesa City Council with seven employees should be the smallest. The Department of Administrative Services of Odesa City Council, including two full-time positions introduced for the period of martial law, will be the second largest in terms of the number of employees - 269 people, and the Legal Department of Odesa City Council with 102 people will be the third largest.

Hennadii Trukhanov also determined the number of employees of municipal institutions that support the activities of Odesa City Council and its executive bodies for 2025. The largest municipal institution will be the Municipal Guard with 350 employees, followed by the Rescue and Diving Service of Odesa City Council with 205 employees and 69 seasonal workers.
