The Standing Committee on Budget Planning and Finance of the Odesa City Council agreed to submit amendments to the budget for consideration at the April 16 session, which provide for the allocation of more than 70 million to eliminate the consequences of Russia's armed aggression.

As explained by the chairman of the commission, Oleksiy Potapsky, 70 million 256 thousand hryvnias are allocated under the program "Unbreakable Odesa".

"There is a house on Armyska Street, or is it not Armyska anymore, a house on Seredna Street, Prokhorivska Street, Pastera Street, Shevchenko Avenue, there are many addresses here, you all know them," the deputy noted.

The commission also supported changes to the special fund of the budget, which provide for an increase of UAH 5 million 757 thousand, of which: UAH 757.7 thousand is to be spent on the arrangement of critical infrastructure facilities under the Unbreakable Odesa program, and UAH 3 million is to be spent on the modernization of water trucks donated by a Japanese organization. The idea is to give these three vehicles the ability not only to transport water but also sand in winter. Finally, 2 million is planned to be spent on dismantling a house on Kutuzakiya Street that was damaged by a Russian shell.

"Another 2 million is needed there," said the head of the commission.

The commission also approved the following allocations:

They also approved the allocation of UAH 10 million to purchase equipment for the State Emergency Service to clear rubble, and UAH 1.8 million to the municipality's motor transport company to pay salaries to its employees.

Also, the Prymorskyi District Administration was approved to reallocate 50 million hryvnias allocated at the last session. They will be redistributed to the addresses of damaged buildings in the district. However, the issue of helping Odesa Polytechnic University to repair its dormitory has been postponed.
