Occupants wound three civilians in Kherson region during shelling

On October 22, 2024, the Russian occupiers fired at settlements in the Kherson region with artillery and mortar weapons. They also used various types of unmanned aerial vehicles.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that as of 17:00, three people were known to have been injured as a result of the shelling.

Thus, at about 04:30 am, the occupiers dropped explosives from a drone on a house in Antonivka. A 74-year-old local resident was hospitalized with injuries. At 7:30 a.m., a 54-year-old woman was also injured as a result of a shell dropped from a UAV on a public transport stop in Kherson. Another drop took place in Kherson at around 14:00. A 70-year-old man sustained injuries to both lower limbs.

The press service added that apartment buildings, private houses, garages and outbuildings, and vehicles were also damaged during the shelling.

Earlier it was reported that in Kherson on the evening of October 21, an ambulance again became a "target" of the Russian occupation army. The enemy dropped an explosive device from a UAV on an ambulance crew that arrived to a patient in the Dniprovsky district. Two employees were wounded. They are men, 44 and 47 years old. They had blast injuries and contusions, as well as shrapnel wounds to their legs. The victims were taken to a hospital for medical care.

It was also reported that on October 16, the occupiers used artillery, tanks and drones, including FPV. As of 17:00, two people were reported injured in the shelling. In Kherson, at 10:00 a.m., a 56-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition. He was injured due to the explosion of a shell dropped by Russians from a drone. In the village of Zmiivka, Beryslav district, around 13:00, a 55-year-old woman was wounded under similar circumstances. Medics treated her on the spot.
