Occupants shell trolleybus depot and hospital in Kherson

At night, the occupiers launched massive attacks on Kherson region, damaging residential buildings, utility facilities and transportation. There are wounded and dead among the civilian population.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yaroslav Shanko.

At night, Russian troops launched an artillery strike on the territory of the trolleybus depot at about 01:30. The shelling damaged the contact network, production and administrative premises, as well as 19 trolleybuses: windows were smashed and the bodies were damaged. The employees of the depot were not injured. Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage, and electric transportation is temporarily out of service.

According to the National Police press service, during the day, the police recorded damage to apartment buildings and 12 private houses, a police car, a civilian car, medical and educational institutions, and the property of a utility company. In Komyshany, Russian artillery hit a house, injuring a 43-year-old woman who was hospitalized with concussion and a mine-blast injury. Two other private houses in the village were damaged.

In Bilozerka, a 49-year-old man was injured during the shelling: He sustained an explosive injury and a concussion. Five private houses and an administrative building were damaged. Stanislav and Tomina Balka were attacked with drones, two residential buildings were damaged.

In the morning, Russian artillery hit the Dniprovsky district of Kherson: a 76-year-old woman was killed and three private houses were damaged. In the evening, a 37-year-old woman sustained fatal injuries from shelling.

A 51-year-old man suffered mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs as a result of the UAV's explosive drops. The drones also damaged a medical facility and a civilian car.

In the Central district, an FPV drone hit a public transportation stop, causing no casualties. In the city center, a UAV damaged a police car. In Korabelny district, an apartment building was damaged by an FPV drone attack. In the Korabel neighborhood, a drone dropped explosives and damaged a school building.

Recently, we have initiated actions in support of Kherson, where the humanitarian situation is deteriorating sharply. The initiator of the action, Zarina Zabriskie, is an American journalist and director of the documentary Kherson: A Safari for People, called for joining the global movement to draw attention to the destruction of the city.

As part of this initiative, the SAVE KHERSON/STOP HUMAN SAFARI campaign will be held in more than 20 cities around the world from December 12 to 14. The organizer said that the movement continues to expand and is looking for coordinators in the United States, particularly in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Actions have already been confirmed in Dallas, Denver and Seattle, and additional support is still being sought for Chicago.
