Today, in the morning of October 7, Russian troops carried out another attack on the civilian infrastructure of Kherson and dropped explosives on a public bus stop.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The attack killed a 65-year-old man. Another local resident, 70 years old, sustained injuries of varying severity and was immediately taken to the hospital. The prosecutor's office has already opened a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war that led to the death of a person under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Earlier, enemy troops launched massive attacks in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions using drones, aircraft and artillery. The attacks killed one person, wounded three others, and damaged housing and infrastructure in dozens of settlements.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, Russian troops continued massive attacks on the Kherson region using drones, aircraft and artillery from October 5 to October 6. Twenty-seven settlements came under fire, including Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Zmiivka, and Kizomys.

The occupants targeted residential areas, critical and social infrastructure. The shelling damaged an apartment building, two private houses, an outbuilding and several cars. The shelling killed one person and injured three others.

According to Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Military District Administration, two days ago Russian troops attacked the Ochakiv community five times with FPV drones and shelled the Kutsurub community twice with artillery.
