Occupants are afraid of Ukrainian offensive in Kherson region: they blow up bridges

The occupiers destroyed a bridge over the Konka River in Kherson region.

An agent of the ATES movement from the 61st Marine Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces reports that this may be due to a possible offensive by Ukrainian forces in the Kherson direction.

The soldiers of the said brigade have repeatedly received intelligence information about a possible offensive by Ukrainian forces. It is also reported that all units up to a depth of 15 kilometers have been put on full combat alert.

This also confirms information from the Kherson region about the movement of about 1,000 Russian troops toward the Dnipro River, the statement said.

ATES believes that the occupiers are seriously considering a Ukrainian offensive in this area and would not blow up such a strategically important bridge without good reason.

We remind you that Russia is significantly strengthening the defense of the Crimean bridge, fearing possible attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in southern Ukraine. In this regard, the Russian military has been ordered to quickly fortify the bridge that connects the occupied peninsula with the Russian mainland.

Two rows of old barges that are no longer in use are being installed along the bridge, and a new fence is being erected around the perimeter. These measures are aimed at protecting the bridge from possible attacks by unmanned boats. To this end, additional air defense systems have been deployed to the bridge in recent days, as well as mobile air defense stations.

Recently, the guerrillas recorded the deployment of Russian air defense systems from Crimea closer to the Crimean bridge, but on Russian territory. The convoy was accompanied by military vehicles.

According to the guerrillas, this indicates that Russia's defense system is facing serious problems related to the insecurity of certain areas, such as the Kursk region.

Earlier ,Kirill Budanov, the head of the GUR, said that from a military point of view, it is much easier to recapture Crimea than Donbas, because there are two points of entry into Crimea - from the Russian side and from ours: The Crimean bridge and the land isthmus.

Meanwhile, as a result of a successful mission of the Special Forces, the Russian boat "Tunets" was destroyed and three other invaders' boats were damaged.
