The city of Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region, is planning to overhaul a part of the water supply system. The budget provides UAH 11.45 million for this purpose.
Information about the procurement was published on Prozorro.
The tender to find a contractor was announced by the Vodoprovodnye Netsy utility company of the Novobug City Council. The works are to begin on April 1, 2025, and be completed by August 31, 2025.
According to the project, the overhaul involves the renovation of two sections of the third line of the pressure water supply system with a total length of 1726 meters. The old pipe will be replaced with a new one. The water pipeline connects the pumping stations of the second and third lifts, providing a stable water supply to the city.
The project is planned to cost UAH 11 million 447 thousand.
Applications from contractors will be accepted until March 26, and on March 27, an auction will be held in the format of open bidding with features that provide for reduced deadlines for submitting applications and the possibility of appeal.
Also, in the village of Novopetrivka, Bashtanka district, Mykolaiv region, it is planned to implement a project to reconstruct the water supply damaged during the occupation and shelling in 2022, for which Germany has allocated three million hryvnias. The total amount for this project is over one hundred million hryvnias.
And in Mykolaiv, it is planned to install solar power plants to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the water supply system. The project also includes backup power and the sale of excess electricity, which will reduce costs.
Meanwhile, Mykolaiv plans to launch a centralized drinking water supply by August 2025. According to Serhiy Sukhomlyn, head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development, under normal circumstances, the construction of a new water supply system would take a year and a half, but due to the accelerated pace of work, the city is expected to be supplied with water in August.
