Mykolaivoblteploenergo awarded a 7-million contract to a local company for the modernization of a boiler room without bidding or auctions.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations on the Prozorro e-procurement website.

On January 3, the regional utility company signed a contract with Svetolux-Electromontazh LLC for the reconstruction of a boiler room at 48 Novozavodska Street in Mykolaiv. The project involves the installation of a modern Jenbacher gas cogeneration unit. The works are part of the modernization of the city's heat supply infrastructure in 2024-2025.

The total cost of the works is UAH 6.99 million. The procurement procedure was conducted without the use of an electronic system, which excludes open tenders or auctions.

The works are scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2025.

According to the YouControl service, Svetolux-Electromontazh LLC was registered in 2000 in Mykolaiv. The company's founder and CEO is Volodymyr Gomzyakov, who is its sole owner.

The company, which is engaged in electrical installation works and production of electrical switchgear, showed an increase in revenues to UAH 58.9 million in 2024. The company actively participates in tenders, in particular with PJSC Mykolaivoblenergo and other state institutions.

Intent has already written that it is planned to attract one and a half billion for the installation of cogeneration units in Mykolaiv. The implementation of this project will optimize the operation of the company's energy facilities, reduce fuel consumption, and improve the environmental situation in the region.

The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development has also allocated more than UAH 57 million for the reconstruction of the boiler house. In total, the project requires more than UAH 200 million.

Earlier, Mykolaivvodokanal provided more than half a million hryvnias to restore water supply in the city. It is planned to reconstruct a steel water pipeline along Myru Avenue from Pivdenna Street to Pohranichna Street. In total, the estimated cost of the water supply system reconstruction project is over UAH 100 million.
