As of the beginning of the current heating season, the debts of Mykolaiv residents for heat supply services remain significant. The total amount of consumer debt to Mykolaivoblteploenergo for the previous periods is over UAH 270 million.

This is stated on the company's Facebook page.

This year, in October and partial November, following appeals to Mykolaivobltereploenergo, the court made 1896 decisions on debtors worth more than UAH 30 million.

The amount of debt enforced was UAH 976,454 in October and UAH 9,092,327 for partial November. The company asked consumers with debts to pay off their debts or enter into a restructuring agreement.

As a reminder, the main set of preparations for the heating season was completed in October. Before the start of this year's heating season, specialists prepared 1,091 boiler houses and overhauled 28 boilers, along with the renovation of 750 heating points.

In addition, 4.8 thousand tons of coal, 2.8 thousand cubic meters of wood and 3.5 thousand tons of pellets were procured in the region. At the same time, a reserve of more than 3 thousand generators has been created.

Earlier, as of September, the state's debt to the utility company Mykolaivoblteploenergo reached a critical level of UAH 1 billion 105 million. This amount is compensation for the difference between the approved and economically justified tariff.

Failure to receive a billion-dollar debt from the state has created serious problems for the heating company itself. Ihor Nabatov, deputy director of Mykolaiv's housing and utilities department, said that Mykolaivoblteploenergo already owes Naftogaz UAH 727 million for gas supplies.
