Mykolaiv Region Under Fire: Enemy Shells Communities, No Casualties Reported

The enemy shelled three communities in Mykolaiv region. Infrastructure was damaged, an educational institution and a residential building were destroyed, but there were no casualties.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Yesterday, on March 22, at 8:41 and 8:50, the enemy fired artillery at the Kutsurubska community, and at 13:31 attacked it with an FPV drone.

Over the past day, the enemy also attacked the Ochakivska community three times with FPV drones. One of the attacks damaged the boiler room of an educational institution in Ochakiv. In addition, a car caught fire and was quickly extinguished.

At about 14:16, the enemy struck the Halytsynivka community using an attack drone, the type of which is currently being identified. In the village of Lupareve, a country house was damaged as a result of the fall of the wreckage of the downed drone and the blast wave. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

On the night of March 22, air defense forces shot down an enemy drone over Mykolaiv region. On March 20, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv district nine times with FPV drones and shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. A day earlier, on March 19, the Halytsynivska community came under attack by drones. As a result of the attack, a 49-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction and was treated on an outpatient basis. The roof of a warehouse, two tractors and a combine harvester were also damaged.

The occupiers continue to attack Odesa and Kherson regions. On the night of March 21, they launched a massive attack on Odesa and its surroundings with attack drones. Civilian infrastructure was damaged, including a multi-storey building, a shopping center and shops. Three people were injured, including minors. Large-scale fires broke out in three places as a result of enemy strikes.

On March 19, Russian troops opened fire on 26 settlements in the Kherson region. Seven civilians were injured in the shelling, four high-rise buildings, 29 private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged.
