In Mykolaiv region, an official was fined for trying to bribe a doctor of the Military Medical Commission to obtain a fake medical certificate in order to delay his arrival at the MMC.
According to the Anti-Corruption Dimension, the head of the Bereznehuvate railway station of the Odesa Railways was fined UAH 17,000 for trying to bribe a doctor who is a member of the military medical commission. The man came to the doctor's office and handed over the bribe. He was exposed at the crime scene and notified of suspicion of giving an illegal benefit to an official.
During the pre-trial investigation, the defendant entered into a plea agreement and was sentenced to a fine.
