On June 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., a regular meeting of the executive committee of the city council is scheduled in Mykolaiv. It is planned to consider the barrier-free strategy, housing and communal services reform and social protection of children affected by the war.

This was reported by the press service of Mykolaiv City Council.

The executive committee members will consider 76 issues, including decisions on public transportation, support for Ukraine's defenders, as well as budgetary and organizational issues.

In particular, they plan to discuss changes to the network of city electric transport routes and the location of stops, as well as updating the program of support for defenders and their families for 2024-2026. They will also consider a draft update of the housing and communal services reform program for 2025-2029.

The members of the executive committee are also to approve an action plan for 2025-2026 to implement the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Space in Ukraine until 2030. During the meeting, it is planned to amend the decision to establish a city commission on public safety.

In addition, issues related to the economic and social development of the city, the results of the financial and economic activities of utilities for 2024, as well as the dismantling of temporary structures will be considered.

Separately, the agenda includes the issue of guardianship and granting the status of children affected by military operations and armed conflicts.

At the last meeting, the executive committee approved the provision of health resort vouchers for beneficiaries in 2025. People with disabilities and IDPs living in the city will receive free rehabilitation. The maximum cost of a voucher will be up to UAH 13,680 for people with disabilities and up to UAH 11,450 for those who accompany them.

Earlier, Mykolaiv decided to reallocate funds from the special budget fund for 2025. Instead of major repairs to residential buildings damaged by armed aggression, UAH 30.5 million will be allocated for the maintenance and development of city roads.
