Mykolaiv executive committee spent hundreds of millions on security, transportation and television

The executive committee of Mykolaiv City Council spent hundreds of millions of hryvnias in the first seven months of 2025 on electricity, security, transportation, video materials, repairs, equipment, and other needs. The largest expenditures were made on public transportation, construction of a shelter for the executive committee, and the field of informatization.

International journalists analyzed data from Zakupivli.pro to find out what exactly these amounts were spent on.

The year started with the purchase of electricity for UAH 2.4 million and security services for UAH 1.2 million. Another UAH 345 thousand was spent on heat energy. A separate item is support for public transportation: 440 million hryvnias were immediately allocated for these services in January.

The executive committee also invested in the field of informatization, spending over UAH 1.9 million in total. Another UAH 8.2 million was planned for the services of children's centers and recreation centers. And over UAH 730 thousand was allocated for products for awards, honors and gifts.

More than UAH 2.7 million was allocated for the creation of informational videos about the activities of the city council, which are broadcast on TV channels. More than UAH 4 million was allocated for security in various forms, including separate contracts. Cleaning the premises cost 3.6 million.

In addition, we purchased television and audiovisual equipment worth UAH 1.3 million and computer equipment worth another UAH 302 thousand.

Funds were also allocated to support the army and national-patriotic education - UAH 99 thousand. In March, the executive committee planned several repairs: premises for 234 thousand hryvnias, toilets for 236 thousand, and 8.7 million hryvnias were spent on repairing the basement to equip a shelter. Another 99,500 hryvnias were allocated for the development of the interior design of the city council premises.

Vehicle repairs cost over UAH 279,000. A heating module for the executive committee's roof boiler room cost another UAH 838,000.

In May, they decided to upgrade the air conditioning system, spending almost 152 thousand hryvnias on air conditioners. More than 600 thousand was spent on purchasing surveillance cameras. And in June, we purchased stationery worth over UAH 429 thousand.

In the first five months of 2025, the executive committee of the Kherson City Council spent several million budget hryvnias on various purchases, from fuel to detergents. The most expensive purchases were diesel fuel worth UAH 1.8 million and car repair services, which cost the executive committee UAH 400 thousand.
