A Mykolaiv court convicted a former law enforcement officer for disseminating information about the location of Ukrainian troops during the war. The man passed on intelligence to the aggressor about the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other formations in the city and region.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

He sent the collected data in the form of precise coordinates through the Telegram channel, which is administered by a person involved in criminal proceedings recruited by the Russian Federal Security Service. The court found the traitor guilty of unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of Ukrainian troops under martial law under Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced him to 10 years in prison. The convict is currently in custody. The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the SBU Office in Mykolaiv region.

Earlier, in the Mykolaiv region, a TCC alert group was beaten with bats. The information was shared by the Mykolaiv regional UCC and JV. Civilians armed with bats and metal pipes damaged a vehicle and injured a soldier from the alert group. The incident occurred during the activities of the TCC and law enforcement officers.

The SBU detained FSB agents who were planning a double terrorist attack near the regional shopping center in Mykolaiv. The explosives were supposed to go off one after the other to hit as many people as possible - the criminals were neutralized before the crime was committed. The SBU CI prevented an attempt to organize a double terrorist attack in Mykolaiv. The special operation resulted in the detention of two FSB agents who planned to blow up the administrative building of the regional territorial recruitment center (TCC).
