Mykolaiv marked the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion with commemorative events and an exhibition honoring the memory of the fallen heroes. Ukrainians continue to resist with determination, and thanks to the unity of all citizens, the war is moving closer to victory.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv City Council.

On the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, a memorial event was organized in the city, attended by representatives of local authorities, the military, volunteers, law enforcement officers, and city residents. During the event, the participants paid tribute to the fallen soldiers and civilians by observing a minute of silence. They also laid flowers at the memorial in honor of the fallen heroes.

An exhibition of photographs highlighting Mykolaiv's resistance during the war was opened near the Walk of Fame. Photographs by Serhiy Kononenko and Dmytro Skorokhodov, along with exhibits from the local history museum, are of great historical value and demonstrate the determination of local residents to fight the enemy.

According to the press service, the 1097th day of the war has passed, but Ukrainians continue to fight for their land despite all the difficulties. It was thanks to the unity of all Ukrainians - military, volunteers, law enforcement and ordinary citizens - that the aggressor was stopped.

Today marks the third anniversary of the aggressor's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Death, destruction and pain have resulted from the criminal aggression of a neighboring country. Against the backdrop of these tragic events, Intent recalls how it all began through the testimonies of Ukrainians and the heroes of our materials.

Recently, Mykolaiv honored the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes by laying flowers at the memorial and paying tribute with a minute of silence. This day is a reminder of the heroism and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the freedom and European future of Ukraine.

Also in January, a memorial event dedicated to International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi concentration camp was held at the memorial sign to the victims of the Holocaust in Mykolaiv.
