Five Mykolaiv brigades received quadcopters and a mini power plant. The soldiers were also honored with awards and certificates of honor.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, together with Nelli Yarovenko, an adviser on veteran policy, visited the Ukrainian military in the east of the country. The visit covered the frontline, in particular in the Donetsk sector, where they met with soldiers from Mykolaiv region.

The units that received support include the 7th Air Assault Corps, 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, 37th Marine Brigade, 46th Airmobile Brigade and 79th Air Assault Brigade.

They received 90 DJI Mavic quadcopters and a compact Jackery mini-power plant. The 35th Separate Marine Brigade received another set of drones, although the meeting with its soldiers did not take place due to a combat mission.

During the meeting, Kim discussed current issues with the commanders and the military, presented St. Nicholas the Wonderworker awards of the third degree, certificates of appreciation, letters of thanks and valuable gifts.

Recently, during a visit to Mykolaiv region, the Czech delegation handed over military aid to the region, including DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters, thermal imagers and artificial lung ventilation devices.

Also, at the request of the 188th Battalion of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade, camouflage nets, trench candles, necessary equipment, household chemicals, clothing, batteries and medicines were delivered to the defenders.

At the end of October, Mykolaiv community handed over another aid to the defenders. The military performing combat missions in the Kherson region received new cars. One vehicle was purchased at the expense of the city budget, and the other was donated by Mykolaivpastrans.

In September, the 54th Brigade received another batch of drones from the city's community, and 100 drones were handed over. In total, since the beginning of the invasion, Mykolaiv has provided over UAH 4.3 billion worth of aid to the Armed Forces.

NATO countries, which promised Ukraine military aid worth 40 billion euros for the current year, provided half of this aid - 20.9 billion euros - in the first half of the year.
