In Mykolaiv, the city budget allocated just over one million out of the required forty million for the repair of the children's hospital.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream ecosystem.

It is planned to overhaul the roof with facade insulation and replace the windows of the Children's City Hospital No. 2. The goal of the project is to improve the quality of the environment and create comfortable conditions for children in the hospital. This includes providing better lighting and ventilation, reducing noise from the street, and increasing thermal insulation and energy savings.

The creator of the project is Mykolaiv City Council, and the implementer is the Department of Energy, Energy Saving and Innovative Technologies.

Another 20 thousand was paid in 2023 for the expertise, and the city plans to spend 39.5 million hryvnias on the construction itself. The works should be performed using modern environmentally friendly materials that meet the requirements of safety, hygiene and aesthetics. We also recalculated the estimate for 2023, taking into account current prices for materials, equipment, and changes in the scope of work.

The project is currently in preparation and requires funding.

Mykolaiv also plans to insulate a kindergarten to improve its energy efficiency. Half of the funds were allocated from the city budget to implement the project. The reconstruction of this institution was planned back in 2017. The project budget is UAH 40.8 million, and UAH 21 million was allocated from the local budget for the reconstruction of the kindergarten.

In addition, the Voznesensky Lyceum in Mykolaiv region is scheduled to be renovated and insulated. The cost of the work is estimated at over UAH 94 million, and the search for funding is underway. The project is aimed at creating comfortable and safe conditions for students, as well as improving the technical condition and appearance of the building.
