Mykolaiv amended the budget by adding an additional subsidy to compensate for utilities for internally displaced persons. The funds were allocated to three addresses where IDPs currently live.

Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych signed a decree No. 73r amending the budget schedule of the Mykolaiv City Territorial Community for 2025. The adjustments were made due to changes in the amount of intergovernmental transfers from other budgets.

According to the order, the Department of Finance of the Mykolaiv City Council shall make appropriate changes to the community budget schedule and take them into account during further adjustments.

The funds received as part of another subsidy from the regional budget were distributed as follows:

The funding is provided in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 261 of March 11, 2022, which regulates the procedure for providing compensation for utilities in premises provided to IDPs free of charge.

And starting April 1, residents of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast, will pay more for water supply and sewerage. The Pervomaisk Water Supply and Sewerage Utility has been forced to raise tariffs due to rising costs for electricity, fuel, reagents, network maintenance, and an increase in the minimum wage.

The city of Mykolaiv recently revised its public transportation tariffs, which affected the cost of travel tickets for different categories of passengers.

In addition, last December, the city approved new tariffs for household waste removal, which will increase by up to 15% depending on the type of consumer. The revision of tariffs by the utility companies took into account economic changes and the need to upgrade the technical fleet, including the purchase of new garbage trucks to improve the city's sanitary condition.
