Missile attack in Odesa injures eight people and kills one

Russian terrorists attacked Odesa with a ballistic missile on the afternoon of October 14, wounding eight people and killing one.

According to the head of the Odesa regional state administration, Oleh Kiper, the enemy once again targeted the port infrastructure. One person was killed and eight others were wounded.

The injured are in hospital, two of them are in serious condition. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance. All the injured and the deceased are employees of the port infrastructure, citizens of Ukraine.

Civilian vessels were also damaged: "NS Moon, flying the flag of Belize, and OPTIMA, a Palauan cargo ship. Exactly a week ago, the OPTIMA was damaged by ballistic missile fire.

The attack also damaged the port infrastructure, including a grain warehouse.

14:25 Law enforcement officers launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The occupiers have intensified attacks on the port, and in particular on civilian vessels. Thus, last week, the Russians attacked civilian vess els three times in the ports of Odesa region in the evening of October 9. During the attack, a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag, the container ship Shui Spirit, was damaged.

Before that, Russia attacked a civilian vessel in the ports of Odesa region. A ballistic missile damaged the Palau-flagged OPTIMA vessel. One person died as a result of the enemy attack. Five other foreign nationals, crew members, were injured.

The day before, on October 6, Russians fired on the civilian shipPARESA flying the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis, which was loaded with corn for export. It happened near one of the berths in the Pivdennyi seaport.
