In Mykolaiv region, sailors unveiled a memorial in honor of the fallen soldiers of one of the Ukrainian Navy units who gave their lives in the Russian-Ukrainian war for the sake of their homeland.

According to the press service of the Ministry, the event took place on the anniversary of the military unit's establishment.

The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, representatives of local authorities and self-government, clergy, and the unit's personnel. At the unveiling of the Memorial, the participants honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a minute of silence, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the new monument.

The Ukrainian Navy noted that the project to create the Memorial was implemented through the joint efforts of the unit's servicemen, who were actively involved in its construction, as well as with the support of local entrepreneurs and local governments. The memorial has become an important symbol of honoring the heroism and sacrifice of the sailors who defend Ukraine from aggression, and a reminder of the losses the country has suffered in this war.

Meanwhile, Mykolaiv plans to create a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of fallen warrior heroes who defended the country in the Russian-Ukrainian war. The site will be divided into two parts: the Grieving Mother park and the memorial. This environment is intended for public events in the park and short-term visits to the memorial.

A Park of Memory and Glory was opened in the village of Myrne in the Vilkovo community of Odesa Oblast in honor of the fallen Ukrainian military.

Also, an Alley of Glory in honor of the fallen soldiers was opened in the village of Kamiane of the Savran community.

On the Day of the Ukrainian Volunteer, the Alley of Glory of the fallen defenders who gave their lives in the Russian-Ukrainian war for the sake of Ukraine was opened in the village of Shabo.
