Large-scale power outage in Odesa region: when and where there will be no electricity

<span><span><span>Residents of Odesa region have been warned of temporary power outages in Odesa district and a large part of Odesa. </span></span></span>

<span><span><span> According to the Odesa Regional State Administration, on Wednesday, March 4, power engineers will carry out urgent repairs to power equipment.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>The works will last from 06:00 to 18:00. During this period, Odesa district of the region and a part of Odesa city will be temporarily de-energized.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>The administration explains that the repair work is necessary to stabilize the power supply situation in the city and suburbs.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>It is noted that critical infrastructure facilities will operate normally. The power engineers plan to complete all the work as quickly as possible to restore power supply to residents as soon as possible.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>At the same time, DTEK reported that an emergency power outage occurred in parts of Kyiv, Khadzhibey and Odesa districts due to a localized malfunction in the grid. Experts are already working to restore power supply.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>It is also noted that emergency blackouts have been introduced in Odesa and some district centers outside the schedule.</span></span></span>

<span><span><span>Residents of the area are urged to prepare in advance for temporary inconveniences and to use electricity rationally after the supply is restored.</span></span></span>

As previously reported by Intent, on the night of December 12, the enemy massively attacked Odesa district with attack drones. Despite the active work of air defense forces, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. Warehouses, an administrative building and a garage were also damaged. Fires broke out at the site and were extinguished by rescuers.

As of the morning of December 13, there was no electricity or water supply for the most part. As a result of the enemy attack, all traction substations in the city were left without power, and trams and trolleybuses were temporarily suspended. Four people were injured in the shelling.

On December 12, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the information initially disseminated by the media about the damage to a civilian ship in one of the ports of Odesa region, Chornomorsk.

Also, around the evening of December 12, Infoksvodokanal announced the restoration of electricity supply to its facilities, which will allow it to resume water supply to residents of areas that were temporarily deprived of it due to the Russian attack on the energy infrastructure of Odesa region on the night of December 12. These are the consumers of Luzanivka and Kotovske residential areas and the town of Pivdenne. As well as the following settlements: Ilichanka, Korsuntsi, Krasnosilka, Svitloye, Oleksandrivka, Kryzhanivka, Lisky, Fontanka, Vapnyarka, Nova Dofinivka, Chornomorske, Zmiienkove, Hryhorivka, Novi Bilyari, Buldynka, Vizyrka, Bilyari, Sychavka.
