President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the information spread by the media this afternoon about the damage to a civilian vessel in one of the ports of Odesa region, Chornomorsk.

According to the head of state, today's Russian strike, like many other similar strikes, did not and could not have any military meaning.

In the afternoon, an air raid alert was sounded in Odesa and the military warned of a possible ballistic missile attack. Subsequently, citizens heard at least three explosions, and then information about a fire on a civilian ship in the port caused by the Russian attack appeared on social networks and media. However, neither the Odesa regional military administration, nor the city military administration, nor rescuers have confirmed this information in any way.

Preliminarily, it is a Turkish container ship.

Meanwhile, Infoksvodokanal reported that power supply to its facilities has been restored, which will allow it to resume water supply to residents of areas that were temporarily deprived of it due to the Russian attack on the energy infrastructure of Odesa region on the night of December 12. These are the consumers of Luzanivka and Kotovske residential areas and the town of Pivdenne. As well as the following settlements: Ilichanka, Korsuntsi, Krasnosilka, Svitloye, Oleksandrivka, Kryzhanivka, Lisky, Fontanka, Vapnyarka, Nova Dofinivka, Chornomorske, Zmiienkove, Hryhorivka, Novi Bilyari, Buldynka, Vizyrka, Bilyari, Sychavka.

However, the company warned that the water supply system is currently completely empty, so it will take some time to fill it up. According to the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, the enemy massively attacked Odesa district with attack drones on the night of December 12. Despite the active work of air defense forces, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. Warehouses, an administrative building and a garage were also damaged. Fires broke out at the site and were extinguished by rescuers.
