Valentyna Tykhosha, a candidate of pedagogical sciences and associate professor at KSU, tragically died in the Kherson region. She had been living under occupation for more than three years and was about to leave for her family.

This was announced by the rector of the university, Oleksandr Spivakovsky.

Valentyna Ivanovna Tykhosha, PhD in Pedagogy and Associate Professor of the Ukrainian Language Department at Kherson State University, died in occupied Oleshky. The rector of the university noted that the war claimed the life of a teacher who had remained loyal to Ukraine all her life.

She had the opportunity to go to her family, and all organizational issues had already been agreed upon, but her fate was tragic. Colleagues and students remember her as an extremely experienced and inspirational teacher who passed on knowledge with great dedication, having educated many generations of teachers and lecturers.
