Kherson resident subordinated community life to the occupation administration

Investigation against the occupying head of Tomyna Balka village completed

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The report says that under the procedural guidance of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office, an indictment was sent to court against a resident of the region on the fact of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that in August 2022, the accused took up the position of the so-called "head of the Tomina Balka village settlement of the military-civilian administration of the Belozerska settlement territorial community of the Kherson district". The woman collected passport data of the local population to subordinate the community's life to the occupation authorities. She hired laborers without proper registration and paid them in rubles. She coordinated the activities, gave instructions to her subordinates, and carried out orders of the illegal "administration".

The special pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that two women would be tried for participating in the organization and conduct of the pseudo-referendum in Muzykivka. It is noted that the investigation established that the accused in September 2022 joined the so-called "precinct election commission", which was preparing a "referendum" on joining the Russian Federation in the village of Muzykivka. The women, accompanied by armed Russian soldiers, went to the homes of local residents, urging them to participate in the "vote."

Also suspected of collaboration is a resident of the Kherson region, who became the head of the occupation "council of deputies of the Genichesk municipal district." According to the investigation, in 2023, the 49-year-old suspect took part in illegal elections to the so-called "council of deputies of the Genichesk municipal district of Kherson region" from theUnited Russia political party.
