Since the beginning of the year, the Kherson regional hospital has spent over UAH 13 million on procurement, of which about 80% was spent on medicines. The most expensive contracts were for pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.

Intent analyzed the hospital's procurement in 2025 using the electronic trading platform Zakupivli.pro.

In 2025, the municipal non-profit enterprise Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital made more than 20 procurements worth millions of hryvnias. The lion's share of tenders concerned the purchase of pharmaceutical products and medical materials. Some of the deals were concluded, but several procurements were canceled, including pharmaceuticals, probably due to the absence of participants or formal errors.

According to the monitoring data, from the beginning of the year to July, the hospital spent more than UAH 5.7 million on medicines, almost UAH 4.9 million on medical supplies, and more than UAH 1.5 million on food. In addition, UAH 540 thousand was spent on medical equipment.

In June and July, the institution also actively procured medicines: more than 10 agreements were concluded in the first days of July alone.

Some procurements concerned food for patients. For example, in May, the hospital purchased bakery products (over UAH 600 thousand for two tenders), as well as fish and meat for over UAH 950 thousand.

In total, the institution spent over UAH 10.6 million on medicines (drugs and medical supplies), which is about 80% of the total procurement budget for this period. At the same time, a little less money was spent on medical equipment - just over half a million.

For comparison, in 2025, Mykolaiv Regional Clinical Hospital made several large procurements, including water supply, medical supplies, and maintenance, the total cost of which exceeded UAH 20 million. Meanwhile, Mykolaiv City Hospital No. 1 announced tenders for almost UAH 40 million in just part of the year, spending the most on life support equipment and laboratory systems.
