Kherson region: occupants' agent group neutralized

An intelligence network that provided the enemy with intelligence and operated under the direction of an official of the occupation government was neutralized in Kherson region

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The report says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, six members of the Russian intelligence network were exposed and notified of suspicion, including a Russian citizen - the "first deputy minister" of the occupation "Ministry of Information Policy of the Kherson region."

According to the investigation, three of the suspects were in Kherson and acted as informants. Together with their accomplices on the left bank, they provided the enemy with data on the locations and movements of the Defense Forces, reported on the results of shelling of settlements, and informed about the current socio-political situation. Movement of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and prosecutors. The information received was used to compile reports and transmitted to the head of the enemy group, a Russian citizen who directly coordinated criminal activities. This information was used by representatives of the aggressor country to adjust hostilities and conduct information and psychological operations.

It is noted that out of the three detained informants, two were served a notice of suspicion of high treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), and another - of unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is currently being decided. Two accomplices were served in absentia notices of suspicion of high treason committed by a group of persons (Part 2 Art. 28, Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). A citizen of the Russian Federation was charged with encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine (Part 3 Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The investigation is ongoing to bring to justice all persons involved in the activities of the hostile agent network.
