Kherson Oblast Allocates ₴111.2M for Gas Supply System Reconstruction in Posad-Pokrovske

The Service for Infrastructure Restoration and Development in Kherson Oblast has started looking for a contractor to reconstruct the gas supply system in one of the villages in the region. UAH 111.2 million will be spent on this.

The tender was announced in the Prozorro public procurement system on February 27.

According to the tender documents, the reconstruction involves the replacement and modernization of gas pipelines and communications in the village of Posad-Pokrovske, which belongs to the Chornobaivka village council of Kherson district. The expected cost of the project is UAH 111 million 217 thousand.

The auction is scheduled for March 14 in the format of open bidding with special features that provide for reduced deadlines for submitting bids and appeals. The bidding process is currently underway.

The contractor has until December 31, 2026, to complete all the work on the reconstruction of the gas supply system.

Posad-Pokrovske is a village that has been affected by the hostilities, in particular due to constant shelling and destruction of infrastructure.

The tender documentation states that the restoration of gas supply is one of the priorities in the post-war reconstruction of the region, which will help local residents return and normalize living conditions.

The reconstruction is also expected to improve the reliability of gas supply and reduce gas losses during transportation. This is expected to have a positive impact on the economic development of the community and ensure the region's energy independence.

Also, the Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Kherson region has announced a tender for the overhaul of private residential buildings in the village of Posad Pokrovske of the Chornobaivska rural territorial community. The total cost of the work is UAH 54 million 389 thousand, which will be allocated from the budget.

Meanwhile, in Vysokopillya, Kherson region, financial irregularities worth more than one million hryvnias were found during the restoration of damaged houses.

Earlier, the Capital Construction Department of the Kherson City Council signed a contract for technical supervision of the construction of a radiation shelter on the territory of school No. 55 in Kherson.
